There are opportunities to introduce both new players to the game through our softball initiative (W10) and for players seeking the traditional hardball game.  Hampshire is one of the few counties with a women’s competition structure, and plays host to Kia Super League champions the Southern Vipers.

Softball Cricket

For Women looking to start  playing the game, W10 is aimed at players aged 13 plus, and it is proving popular and growing fast.W10 logo

  • Offers women and older girls cricket in a fast, exciting format.
  • A fun and exciting way for women to socialise and try a new sport regardless of age and ability.
  • Establishes clubs offering training followed by matches against other W10 teams.

Hardball Cricket

Hampshire Cricket Board works very closely with the Hampshire Cricket League.  The league consists of 18 teams competing across three divisions.
