Free Kids Coaching Confirmed For 2017's Internationals

The home of Hampshire Cricket is pleased to confirm that free kids coaching will be offered at all three of England's International matches hosted at the The Ageas Bowl in 2017.

Hampshire Cricket's professional coaches will run a number of free batting, bowling and fielding courses for youngsters covering all key facets of the game, with places for these sessions available to book nearer the time of the matches.

Given the The Ageas Bowl’s proud history of providing free family-friendly activities during International fixtures, the venue will be providing more free activities and attractions than ever at all three matches next year.

Previous England Internationals at the The Ageas Bowl have seen laser quest, giant inflatables, climbing walls, arts and crafts stations and funfair rides enjoyed by thousands of youngsters on-site at the picture-perfect venue and similar activities are set to be available for all to enjoy again in 2017.

The Ageas Bowl’s 2017 International calendar begins on Saturday 27th May with England set to take on AB De Villiers’ South Africa in a Royal London One-Day International. The Proteas then return to the The Ageas Bowl the following month to contest a series-opening NatWest IT20 on Wednesday 21st June.

England’s third and final visit to the The Ageas Bowl in 2017 comes on Friday 29th September as they face the West Indies in a potentially series-deciding Royal London ODI, a match which will be England's last on home shores next year.

Interest in International cricket in the south is at an all-time high after sell-out Royal London One-Day International and NatWest IT20 fixtures at the The Ageas Bowl in 2016, following unprecedented demand for the venue’s two sell-out England matches in 2015. This demand has continued once again into next year’s fixtures as record-breaking early sales have resulted in more than 70% of tickets already sold for  England’s opening contest against South Africa in May.

The best value adult tickets for this year’s fixtures are priced from £35 with Under 17 tickets available from just £15 with discounts for families.
