Australian fast-bowler Jackson Bird could make his Championship debut for the Club with Hampshire facing Sussex looking to secure their first four-day win of the season.
Hampshire Squad:
Bird made his full debut for the Club during Hampshire’s impressive NatWest T20 Blast win over Middlesex at the The Ageas Bowl and is set to face Sussex on Sunday. Fidel Edwards could return to the Championship side after being named in the 13-man squad whilst opening batsman Sean Terry is also named
Recent Form:
Hampshire’s draw with Worcestershire at the The Ageas Bowl means Jimmy Adams’ side are still searching for their win in the Championship in 2015 after four draws and two defeats from their opening six matches. Fast-bowler Ajmal Shahzad inspired an impressive display with the ball to help Sussex to a 92-run win over Hampshire in the last match between the two sides – the first game of the 2015 county season at the The Ageas Bowl.
