Hampshire Cricket Board's Disability Programme Celebrated

Hampshire batsman Joe Weatherley was on hand to present awards at the programme's annual awards celebration

Hampshire Cricket hosted a celebration of yet another strong year for Hampshire Cricket Board’s disability cricket programme.

Chris Harper of Dove House School and Ian Tiny Morris of Hampshire Visually Impaired Cricket Club were recognised for their contributions to disability cricket and they shared the Ralph Muckells Trophy presented by Hampshire Cricket’s Joe Weatherley.

Cricket Development Manager Simon Jones and coach Steve Wallis will also ‘Zip The Ageas Bowl’ on Sunday 18th October in order to raise funds for the 2016 disability programme.

The zipwire ‘flight’ will appear on Hampshire Cricket Board’s YouTube and social media channels, technology permitting.

Nearly £100 was collected at the awards presentations and further donations can be made clicking here.
