Record-Breaking Demand For 2017 International Matches At The Ageas Bowl

Tickets to the The Ageas Bowl’s 2017 International matches have been in unprecedented demand

Tickets to the The Ageas Bowl’s 2017 International matches have been in unprecedented demand, after record-breaking sales followed the commencement of a priority on-sale period this week.

The home of Hampshire Cricket will host three International fixtures next season with both South Africa and West Indies taking on England at the venue, and after the commencement of a priority period on Thursday 6th October (10am), there has already been overwhelming interest.

The Ageas Bowl’s 2017 International calendar kicks off on Saturday 27th May when England face South Africa in a Royal London ODI. The Proteas then return to the The Ageas Bowl on Wednesday 21st June for a series-opening NatWest IT20 fixture.

England then face the West Indies at the The Ageas Bowl in a potentially series-deciding Royal London One-Day International on Friday 29th September, a match which will be England's last on home shores in 2017.

Following the conclusion of the priority booking period, tickets will be released for general sale  on Monday 10th October (10am) and the early demand is expected to continue.

Adult tickets are priced from just £35.00 for England’s IT20 against South Africa and from £40.00 for both ODIs against South Africa and the West Indies.

This year’s sell-out International matches at the The Ageas Bowl were an excellent success, so the unprecedented early interest and record-breaking figures shown during the priority period for next year’s fixtures is very pleasing. Everyone at the The Ageas Bowl is passionate about continuing to fulfil the demand for world-class cricket in this region, and we’re looking forward to hosting what will be three fantastic spectacles in 2017.
