Neil Thomas McCorkell (1912-2013)

Former Hampshire wicketkeeper Neil McCorkell has died at the age of 100.

McCorkell passed away at his home in South Africa on February 28, three weeks shy of his 101st birthday.

He made 395 appearances for Hampshire from 1932 - 1951, taking 524 catches and 181 stumpings. He also scored 16,228 runs at 25.60, including 17 centuries.
