Test Match Ticket Giveaway as Hampshire Stars Give Cricket Master Classes

Three lucky youngsters will win tickets to be a part of history when three of Hampshire Cricket’s biggest names, in conjunction with the League Cricketers Association’s [LCA] Cricket Coaching programme, deliver tailored “Master Classes” to the county’s budding cricket stars.

Ashes winning bowler Simon Jones, ICC Twenty20 World Cup winning batsman Michael Lumb and former South African international wicket-keeper, Nic Pothas will be at King Edward VI School in Southampton on three separate dates, passing on tips and advice and offering inside secrets that helped them get to the top of the game.

They will also be answering questions and signing autographs as well as doing a prize draw for three pairs of tickets to The Rose Bowl’s historic first ever Test Match – England v Sri Lanka between 16 – 20 June 2011. Every other participant in the courses will be given a free ticket to a Clydesdale Bank 40 match at The Rose Bowl next season, where they can see “Jonah”, “Lumby” and “Skeg” in action for the Royals.

Details of the Master Classes are as follows:

Simon Jones fast bowling master class - 29th November 18:00 – 21:00
Nic Pothas wicket keeping master class - 6th December 18:00 – 21:00
Michael Lumb batting master class - 13th December 18:00 – 21:00

In addition, the stars will be supported by a team of professional coaches including former professional cricketers Richard Logan and Richard Browning and current Hampshire player David Balcombe.
