Warwickshire Bears v Hampshire Royals
Clydesdale Bank 40

Hampshire Royals win by 130 run
Hampshire Royals: 341-6
Warwickshire Bears: 211
Centuries from Jimmy Adams and Michael Carberry on a swelteringly hot day at Edgbaston set The Royals up for their first win of the season in the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition.
It rounded off an excellent week for the team who are finally back to winning ways in both competitions they've played in.

The home side started as they needed to go on, scoring a four off the first ball, but then the run-rate slowed. Stuttering to 47 off 7 overs, the Edgbaston crowd's hopes were raised with an expensive 10th over which saw Cork being hit for 22.
But then it started raining on their parade... literally. A sprinkler came on in the middle of play, which nearly drenched Michael Carberry. He probably wouldn't have minded having worked up such a sweat at the crease!
But the wickets were tumbling fast for Warks. Diving catches from Rangana Herath and Liam Dawson were added to more simple long-on catches from Lumb and James Vince.
A fantastic bowling performance from Sean Ervine (4-39) also kept The Bears at bay.
Keith Barker put up some temporary resistance, scoring 26 not out, but the result was never in doubt.
It means Hampshire have their first two points in Group C and look to continue on this run into matches against Yorkshire and Scotland next week.
