Wiltshire based Sam joins the Academy for his second year as an U17. Having been on Swindon Town's Academy until 2022, Sam now focuses his time and attention on being a top order batter for Hampshire. 2023 saw him make his Second XI debut, as he played a lot of games across many formats. His batting highlight was his innings in an U18 game where he batted the entire day for his first 100 of the season.

As a leg spinning all-rounder, Ethan is an exciting modern-day cricketer. He came through the Hampshire age groups to gain selection onto the Hampshire Academy for his final year as an U18. He put in some impressive performances for the Academy team in the Southern Premier League in 2023. Ethan is another Bashley Rydal player to gain a place on the Hampshire Academy.

A modern leg spinner who can bat well, Zack gains selection onto the Academy for his first year after a successful 2023. Zack played at Bunbury and gained selection from this onto the ECB U17 representative teams. He is another player to join the Hampshire Pathway from the Dorset link.
Oli Cordery

Oli Cordery

Hampshire Academy
Oli re-joins the Hampshire Academy in his U17 year. A seam bowler and lower order batter, Oli is another Hampshire pathway product, coming through into the CAG squads through the bowling group programmes. He featured a lot across the U15’s – U18’s and Academy teams last season becoming a really dependable bowler in all teams. He excelled in the U18’s championship side and made his Second XI debut in 2023.
Finn Gordon

Finn joins us for his first season on the Academy, having had a successful season for the U16’s, U18’s and Bashley 1st XI in 2023. A free-flowing left hand batter who bowls excellent off spin, Finn is another player who came across from the Dorset system to join our pathway a couple of years back.
Eddie Jack

Eddie made his First XI debut in 2023, appearing in many Metro Bank One Day Cup games. He impressed everyone with his bowling performances in the First and Second XIs. Another player who has also benefited from Hampshire's link with Dorset. A tall opening bowler and exciting middle order batter, Eddie has more than earnt his third year with the Academy for 2024. He has also been selected to represent the Young Lions in the World Cup for 2024.
Dom Kelly

Dom Kelly

Hampshire Academy
Dom heads into his final year as a Hampshire Academy player. His 2023 season consisted of some First XI Metro Bank One Day Cup games, contributing massively to a successful group stage of the competition. He also became an integral member of the Young Lions with his performances earning him selection to the World Cup in 2024.
Manny Lumsden

Manny Lumsden

Manny is our youngest member of the squad. With “Whispering Death” as his idol, Manny is a young quick of real note. Gaining selection for Bunbury a year young and really impressing everyone there, Manny joins the Academy after an impressive 2023. Manny made his Academy and U18 debut last season as an U14. An all-round athlete who has been in the Hampshire Pathway since an U7.

Andrew joins the Academy for his first year after featuring heavily for the Academy and U18’s team last season. After a really successful 2023, Andrew went from strength to strength with many excellent performances across all formats. He has been involved within the Hampshire Pathway for the last few years after joining through Berkshire’s Pathway. He is a creative and inventive batter who scores in many areas.
Ben Mayes

Ben Mayes

Hampshire Academy
Ben joins the Hampshire Academy for his first year, having been in the pathway since a very young age. A very exciting all-round athlete, Ben has been selected to represent England in Hockey over recent years. With some very impressive performances in 2023 in the Bunbury festival and for the U18’s/Academy teams, he gained selection onto some ECB U17 representative teams. A cross format cricketer who is three dimensional and a real prospect for the future.
Louis Prichard

Louis Prichard

Hampshire Academy
Louis joins for his second year on the Academy as an U18. Louis was late into cricket, joining the RPC programme as an U12 and quickly showing promise with bat and ball, moving into the CAG and development squads in quick time. Louis is an off spinning all-rounder and athletic fielder, often excelling in the shorter format of the game. He plays his club cricket at Bashley Rydal however last season he featured heavily in the Academy and U18 teams.
