Club Welfare Officers
All clubs with a Junior Section must appoint a Club Welfare Officer. Clubs without a Junior Section may, nevertheless, have Under 18’s playing for them or against them so, if there is no Club Welfare Officer appointed, the Club Chairman has responsibility for Child Protection.
All Club Welfare Officers must have a current Criminal Records Bureau clearance through ECB and must attend a Safe Hands Workshop (Click here for details regarding future courses), and a Safeguarding & Protecting Children (SPC) course, every three years.
A Notification Form should be completed and returned to the Development Office following a change of Club Welfare Officer.
