District Representative Cricket

One of the ECB's priority tasks for County Boards in delivering the National Strategy is the establishment of an effective District structure.

In Hampshire the Board is fortunate that District Associations have been active for many years and play a key role in implementing the Board's Development Strategy.

In particular our four Districts provide competitive cricket for junior cricketers in their member clubs, assist the better juniors to improve through winter training in Development Centres, field representative teams in summer Festivals and in other inter-District matches, and liaise with the Performance CDO in identifying the best players competing for places in the County Junior squads.
