How to Use the Hampshire Cricket iCal

The iCalendar function allows you to download Hampshire fixtures directly into your calendar and access them via your smartphone / emails. To download them simply click the button at the top of each Fixtures page and then take the following steps:

Outlook 2003
1. On the File menu, click Import and Export.
2. Click Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file (.vcs), then click Next.
3. Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import. In the Files of type list, choose either iCalendar Format or vCalendar Format.
4. Click OK.

Outlook 2007
1. On the File menu, click Open.
2. Select Calendar.
3. Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import. In the Files of type list, choose either iCalendar Format or vCalendar Format.
4. Click OK.

Outlook 2010
1. On the File menu, click Open.
2. Double click Open Calendar.
3. Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import. In the Files of type list, choose either iCalendar Format or vCalendar Format.
4. Click OK.

Entourage
1. Locate the file you want to import.
2. Right click and choose Open With, click Entourage
3. All entries will be merged with the Entourage Calender.

Lotus Notes
1. On the File menu, click Import.
2. Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import. In the Files name list, choose Calendar File (.ics)
3. Click Import.
4. Confirm the entry details, then click OK.

Windows Live / Hotmail
1. On the Toolbar, click Subscribe.
2. Select Import from an ICS file, and then click Browse.
3. Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import.
4. Click Open, and then do one of the following:

Import the ICS file into a new calendar
a. Click Import into a new calendar.
b. In the Calendar name box, type a name for the calendar.
c. Next to Color, select a color for the calendar.
d. In the Charm list, click the icon you want to associate with events for this calendar.

Import the ICS file into an existing calendar
a. Click Import into an existing calendar.
b. In the Select which calendar list, select the calendar that you want to use.
c. Next to Prevent duplicates, click one of the following:

Only keep the new events: Events previously imported from the same calendar will be replaced with newer versions of the same events.
Only keep the original events: Events previously imported from the same calendar are kept, and only new events will be imported.

5. Click Import calendar, and then click Done.

Google Calendar
1. In the left hand column ,click the down-arrow next to Other calendars
2. Click Import calendar
3. Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import. Click Open.
4. Select the Calendar to import into.
5. Click Import, and then click Close.
