Prostar has a history which originates from 1899 when quality garments were developed and produced in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Since then, over the past 100 years Prostar has been associated with supplying sportswear to leading clubs and teams at all levels across the U.K.

Prostar was founded in 1901, and built its reputation by supplying socks, first to the armed forces and later to football, rugby and cricket clubs across the country.

In December 2010, Hampshire signed a new agreement for Prostar to supply playing kit and training wear to the club for another 3 years.
