Sean Paul TERRY

"Seany" is a right handed batsman and off-break bowler who has signed a development contract with Hampshire for the 2012 season.  

The son of former Hampshire player and coach, Paul Terry, he impressed Club management while playing three Second XI Championship (SEC) and two Second XI Trophy (SET) matches for Hampshire in 2011, scoring three 50's and a 100 in the process.

He also represented the MCC Young Cricketers – even scoring 91 against Hampshire in a Twenty20 game and 69 in a SET game on the Isle of Wight.

Raised in Perth, Australia, he also plays for Melville CC, where fellow Hampshire players Dimitri Mascarenhas, Liam Dawson, James Vince, Hamza Riazuddin and David Balcombe have all plied their trade.

He has represented Western Australia at junior levels as well as Hampshire age group sides in previous years.
