vCricket

The Hampshire vCricket Program is aimed at encouraging people to Volunteer at their local cricket clubs.
Greig Stewart is responsible for the delivery of vCricket and the recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers throughout grassroots cricket, in Hampshire.
Volunteering in cricket is supported by the ECB, through their Be Involved website, and vCricket is funded by V which is an independent charity aiming to inspire a new generation of volunteers (aged 16–25) in England.
How can your club get involved?
vCricket operates through a network of Volunteers Co-ordinators, appointed within cricket clubs.
To get involved in vCricket and receive, dedicated, volunteers support you need to identify someone to take on this role, and contact Greig Stewart.
What does a Volunteer Co-ordinator do?
The Volunteer Co-ordinator works with the HCB to ensure the club has enough volunteers to operate successfully.
What do HCB offer?
HCB will support Volunteer Co-ordinators in three key areas:
- Recruitment
- Retention
- Reward & Recognition
