Women and Girls

Hampshire currently has 17 Clubs with girls sections and 12 Clubs with Ladies Sections.

School Cricket continues to increase with more, and more, schools taking part in our U11 Kwik Cricket festivals and our U11, U13, and U15,Indoor Lady Taverners competitions.

Hampshire is also one of a very few Counties to have a District Programme, which is run at U11, U13 and U15 age groups across three Districts. They all take part in a comprehensive Winter Coaching Programme followed by Festival matches over the summer.

The standard of our County age group squads is continuing to improve at a rapid rate. The U15 Girls reached the ECB Championship Finals, for the first time in 2010, losing out in a tight match to Kent.

The HCB Women and Girls steering group is responsible for driving womens' and girls' cricket forward in Hampshire and also help deliver our Strategy over the coming years. The group consists of:
