Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Mike has been associated with Hampshire Cricket Club for over 35 years, including coaching and managing Hampshire youth squads as a qualified ECB coach, and served as Chairman of New Forest Cricket Association, captaining his local side.

A former corporate director, Michael now runs a specialist Cricket & Hockey business with his son Christian and the grandson of Jim Laker.

He lives in the New Forest is married with five children and nine grandchildren. He can be seen every match day running the Hampshire Shop.
