Hampshire Cricket are pleased to be able to offer a number of different opportunities for schools to receive high quality coaching as part of their curriculum, in addition to in an after school environment.
Our coaches that lead our school sessions and programmes are county, district, level 2 or level 3 qualified. What’s more, a number of current Hampshire players also assist in the delivery of sessions. Our coaches utilise their vast experience to enthuse and aid young cricketers in Hampshire fufill their potential.
Our school offering transcends curriculum and after school coaching as well as provision for master classes, skills challenges and first class experiences which enable youngsters to spend a day in the life of a professional player.

Hampshire Cricket are able to deliver curriculum coaching within the school environment, with the aim of giving all children the opportunity for participation, enjoyment and skill development.
Each bespoke session is planned and delivered to meet the specific needs of the school and its pupils.
The sessions operate a flexible pricing model and prices relate directly to coaching time, content planning, equipment provision and travel.
Much like our curriculum coaching programme, Hampshire Cricket can deliver after school coaching within the school environment.
These sessions would again be bespoke to the schools and pupils needs with the same intentions of providing children with the opportunity for enjoyment, participation and skill development.

Master classes are our skill-specific offering and enable us to deliver in depth technical and tactical coaching and video analysis to aid understanding and progression within a certain discipline, allowing optimum coach contact time.

Our 2016 Schools T20 Blast Skills Challenge aims to give the opportunity for over 300 young cricketers to showcase their prowess for catching, big hitting, target bowling and throwing on the Ageas Bowl outfield before T20 Blast matches at the Ageas Bowl.
The youngsters involved in the challenge have the chance to perform in front of large crowds, whilst scoring points for their team – with the emphasis on having fun!
The challenge’s most successful team will then have the privilege of forming the guard of honour as the Hampshire team take to the field for their action-packed T20 Blast match, whilst every school group will have a souvenir photo taken on the pitch.
The cost of partaking in the challenge is just £144, which provides up to 12 youngsters with both entry to the challenge and tickets to the subsequent match. In addition, each school will receive three Adult tickets for staff as well as three parking passes, whilst parents and friends keen to witness the challenge will also be able to buy tickets at a discounted rate!
School groups would be asked to arrive at 4:30pm/5pm to take part in the skills challenge, ahead of the T20 Blast match commencing at 6:30pm/7pm.
