Abu Dhabi T20 2021 Begins With Whiteley & Albert Involved

Hampshire duo set to feature in 10-over competition in Abu Dhabi

Hampshire’s Ross Whiteley and Toby Albert are set to feature in the 2021 edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League.

Since its inaugural season in 2017 the T10 league has seen a raft of changes with six teams to feature in 2021; Bangala Tigers, Deccan Gladiators, Dehli Bulls, Northern Warriors, Team Abu Dhabi and The Chennai Braves.

As the competition's name would suggest, each side gets 10 overs to bat and matches should last around 90 minutes. Teams will play 10 games in the group stage, facing each team twice.

Off season recruit Ross Whiteley will be playing in his third edition of the T10 after representing the Karnataka Tuskers and Maratha Arabians previously; he lines up for Northern Warriors this time around.

Toby Albert, fresh off receiving a rookie deal with Hampshire, has been picked up by the Chennai Braves, a side which will feature fellow county players, Roman Walker (Leicestershire) and Ravi Bopara (Sussex).

The tournament will be played from 19th November- 4th December with all fixtures played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi and broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.
