Match Preview: Hampshire v Warwickshire, Vitality CC
A 12-player Hampshire squad has been named for their Vitality County Championship match against Warwickshire at Utilita Bowl
The Ageas Bowl’s full-time education programme, specialising in the delivery of cricket and boxing, has seen a large number of applicants since it was established at the start of this year.
Delivered with SCL, the programmes are designed to develop both the academic and sporting talent of students, giving them the skills and qualifications to further their career in the sport, fitness and leisure industry.
We have had a great start to the application process with a number of people already interviewed. At the moment, the programme is still open for applicants and I would urge anyone interested to get in touch soon.
The Ageas Bowl Education Programme Manager, Richard Browning
The two-year fully funded programme will give students the opportunity to obtain a BTEC Level 3 Sports Diploma (equivalent to three A Levels) whilst offering further opportunities to work alongside professional sporting staff and gain coaching qualifications.
Targeted at talented local athletes, the programme will give students access to the world class facilities and coaching at the The Ageas Bowl whilst gaining skills and experience from all aspects of a professional cricket club.
To register your interest in the programmes, please contact Richard Browning via email: richard.browning@ageasbowl.com.
