BEEFY'S Hosts 'Excellent' Relaunch Event

Newly redesigned and refurbished, the The Ageas Bowl's BEEFY’S Restaurant and Bar hosted an ‘excellent’ VIP relaunch event on Thursday.

BEEFY’S, a concept created by England cricketing legend, Sir Ian Botham, has relaunched as a British tapas bar and brasserie restaurant and as part of this exciting new beginning, the restaurant hosted a VIP event located in the restaurants surrounds.

The evening gave guests the chance to hear about the restaurant’s unique new concept as well as being able to try elements of the new menu which has taken its inspiration from Sir Ian Botham’s love for our countryside, from fishing the great rivers of the UK to field pursuits, and the bounty that it produces.

It was fantastic to be able to host the BEEFY’S re-opening event yesterday and to have such universally positive feedback from those attending. The new BEEFY’S concept really seemed to have struck a chord, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the restaurant very soon.

Thursday’s event was also the first opportunity to see the restaurant’s stunning new layout, including the new British tapas bar with craft ales where guests can dine whilst choosing from a list of exquisite tapas.

The new-look restaurant also includes a chef’s table and some larger tables for bigger party bookings, allowing for a feasting menu to be developed for Sunday lunches and special occasions.

Former Southampton FC defender, Francis Benali, and Hampshire Cricket’s Reece Topley and Lewis McManus were just three of the esteemed guests in attendance.

The Hampshire duo were also on hand to pull the restaurants first draught pint of Bud Light at the start of the evening, with BEEFY’S the first location in the UK to offer the light American lager on tap – just one of the many unique features on show within the restaurant and its bar.

It’s great to see BEEFY’S looking so good – the new surroundings of the restaurant are fantastic and the new concept is something that I think people will really enjoy.

The launch has been excellent and it was great to also be involved in pouring the UK’s first pint of draught Bud Light. It’ll be a nice addition to the restaurant offering – I’m looking forward to coming here already!
