Purchasing Tickets FAQs

Why should I sign up for 2024 Vitality Blast priority access?

By signing up, you’ll be able to secure discounted Super Early Bird tickets to all of Hampshire Hawks' matches when the priority sale begins on Friday 9th February. Click here to sign up for priority access.

This is particularly important for Ticket Plus. These premium tickets are limited for each fixture and sold out for every matchday in 2023.

What's more, by signing up for priority before 11:59pm on Thursday 8th February, you'll be entered into a prize draw to win the ultimate matchday package -  a free pitch-facing hotel room with dinner and breakfast included for a home group stage game of your choice. How can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be booked online here.

Tickets and retail can be purchased in person, by visiting Utilita Bowl Store, which is open between 10am - 4pm Monday - Friday. You can find the on-site Store within the venue's West Gate.

If you would prefer to contact one of the Ticketing Team, please note that phone lines are open from 10am – 4pm Monday - Friday. Please e-mail tickets@utilitabowl.com if you are unable to find the information you require here, if you would like to arrange a call back please include your telephone number within your email.

What is the maximum number of tickets I can purchase?

For international fixtures, a maximum number of eight tickets can be purchased online per person. Groups of nine or more can be booked by contacting Utilita Bowl's Ticketing Team via tickets@utilitabowl.com.

For all domestic fixtures, a maximum number of 20tickets can be purchased online per person for any matches. Groups of ten or more can benefit from discounted prices and can be booked by emailing tickets@utilitabowl.com.

Can I select specific seats?

For international fixtures, Hampshire Cricket Members can select specific seats for international ticket purchases. All other international tickets are purchased within a price band area, specific seats will be allocated around four weeks before the game. You can view the areas of the ground which apply to each price band by clicking here.

For general admission fixtures, no specific seats are sold.

How do I enquire about accessible tickets?

Please visit www.utilitabowl.com/cricket/accessibility for more information and to purchase Accessible Tickets online. Alternatively, please email tickets@utilitabowl.com and a member of the team will be happy to assist.

I am a disabled person and require support attending matches, what is your policy on companion tickets?

For all matches and events we offer complimentary Essential Companion tickets for disabled supporters. These tickets are available to supporters who have a genuine requirement for support and you may be asked to provide suitable evidence to access companion tickets. Please visit www.utilitabowl.com/cricket/accessibility for more information. Alternatively, please email tickets@utilitabowl.com and a member of the team will be happy to assist.

Are tickets assigned to specific seats?

Tickets purchased through the International Ticket Ballot are purchased within a price band area, specific seats will be allocated around four weeks before the game. For matches in The Hundred you will be allocated specific seating.

For domestic matches, seats are generally unallocated (general admission), although this policy may change in line with safety requirements if they are still required. Please refer to pre-match information which will be communicated to you.

What are Vitality Blast Plus Tickets?

Vitality Blast Plus Tickets, or 'Ticket Plus', provides an upgraded experience to Vitality Blast attendees, where customers can skip the queue to access the ground with priority gate entry on the matchday, enjoy the cricket from premium suite seating and relax in a private suite with a bar.

Are there any booking fees incurred when purchasing tickets?

Yes, for International matches a booking fee of £3.00 will be applied to each individual ticket purchased online and over the phone. For Vitality Blast tickets a £1.00 booking fee will be applied to each individual ticket purchased online and over the phone. Booking fees do not apply for Vitality Blast Passport purchases.

Booking, admin and delvery fees are non-refundable.

Is there a charge for babies?

Children under the age of 3 on the date of the match are permitted entry into the ground free of charge as long as they do not occupy their own seat. Should you wish to purchase a seat, you can do so at the standard price of an under-17 ticket.

Is there an age restriction for unaccompanied children?

Children under the age of 14 are only permitted into the venue with an accompanying adult over the age of 18.

What time do you open on a match day?

Vitality County Championship – Gates open 60 minutes before the commencement of play. Our Ticket Office & Car Parks open 90 minutes before the commencement of play.

Metro Bank One Day Cup – Gates open 60 minutes before the commencement of play. Our Ticket Office & Car Parks open 90 minutes before the commencement of play.

Vitality Blast – Gates open 90 minutes before the commencement of play. Our Ticket Office & Car Parks open 2.5 hours before the commencement of play.

Internationals –  Gates open 2 hours before the commencement of play. Our Ticket Office & Car Parks open 3 hours before the commencement of play.

How do I get to the Utilita Bowl?

Can I park my car at the Utilita Bowl on a match day?

Can I leave the Utilita Bowl during a match and return later?

Yes, for cricket matches we operate a re-entry policy at the ground. Should you wish leave you must pass out through one of our turnstiles, or have you ticket scanned by a steward. We reserve the right to refuse re-entry at specific matches.

This policy will vary for concerts.

Can I bring medication into the ground?

Yes, in order to bring medication into the ground for major match days, Vitality Blast matches and concerts you would need to send a copy of your doctor’s note to tickets@utilitabowl.com. A member of the team will then send you a formal letter which you will need to bring with you on the day of the match/concert to show the stewards.

Can I bring alcohol into the ground?

No alcohol can be brought into the ground for Vitality Blast, Internationals, The Hundred or any other major matches/concerts.

A maximum of four cans of beer or equivalent, or 70cl of wine may be brought into the ground for Metro Bank One Day Cup and Vitality County Championship matches.

Am I allowed to smoke in the ground?

Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas, this includes e-cigarettes. There are located to the west and east entrances to the main Pavilion and around the ground away from arena seating.

Can I access the Pavilion and Arlott Atrium on match days?

The Arlott Atrium is open to all ticket holders for all Domestic and International fixtures. However, certain areas of the Rod Bransgrove Pavillion are available to Members only, including the Derek Shackleton suite for both domestic and International match days. The Robin Smith suite is only open to Executive Members on domestic match days and hospitality guests for Internationals.

How can I keep up to date with match day information?

On Hampshire match days, there are a variety of different options to be able to find out more match day information.

Am I able to request a shout out for a special occasion over the loud speaker?

Yes, please email the message and details to enquiries@utilitabowl.com. Although we will do our best to respond to all requests, it is not always possible for these to be accommodated during some matches.

Are dogs permitted into the ground?

Dogs are not permitted with the exception of assistance dogs.

Are musical instruments allowed to be brought into the Utilita Bowl.

Musical instruments are only permitted into the ground with written consent of our Match Day Operations Team. The team will consider requests from professional musicians attending with organised supporter groups. 

To request permission to bring a musical instrument into the ground please email enquiries@utilitabowl.com.

We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw permission without notice.

Is there a cloakroom provision at the ground?

No, unfortunately we do not offer a cloakroom or left luggage service.

May I bring a pushchair into the ground?

Yes, you are able to bring pushchairs into the ground and there is an unmanned storage area for buggy’s in the entrance to the Shane Warne stand and Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie stand which are left at the owners' own risk.

Is fancy dress permitted at the Utilita Bowl?

Yes, and in fact, during particular matches if it's been proactively encouraged, spot prizes may be given for the best costumes and attire.

2024 Ballot FAQs

How does the ballot work?

If you are not a Member of Hampshire Cricket or do not have access to tickets through our priority window, the best way to try and secure tickets for 2024's England matches is to enter the ballot. The ballot is random, and if you are successful, you will be emailed with a link to purchase your tickets.

How do I enter the ballot?

The ballot opens on Wednesday 30th August. Supporters can enter the ticket ballot at www.utilitabowl.com/ballot 

How many tickets can I apply for?

You can apply for up to 8 tickets per international fixture through the ballot form. For groups of more than 8 tickets, please email tickets@utilitabowl.com to discuss a group booking, and a member of our team will be in touch directly to discuss your booking requirements.

How will I know if my application is successful?

All applicants will be notified of the result of their application by email once the ballot closes. Successful ballot entrants in stage one will be given a deadline to purchase tickets.

Unsuccessful ballot entrants in stage one will be automatically re-entered into the second stage of the ballot, with second stage results being shared following the completion of phase one of the ballot.

Can I purchase more tickets than I have been allocated?

No. Any tickets that are purchased in addition to those that have been allocated will be cancelled without notice.

Will I have the opportunity to purchase additional seats after the ballot?

Once the ballot has closed, any remaining tickets will go on general sale at which point additional tickets can be purchased if available, although the last three England matches at Utilita Bowl have all sold out during the ballot.

How do I purchase the tickets I have been allocated?

Successful applicants will receive an email containing a link to purchase tickets.

Am I obligated to purchase the tickets I am allocated?

No, you do not have to buy tickets if you are successful in the ballot.

Can I purchase Under-17 tickets in the ballot?

Yes Under-17 tickets are available to purchase.

Can I select specific seats?

Ballot tickets are purchased within a price band area. You can view the areas of the ground which apply to each price band at www.utilitabowl.com/cricket/tickets/international-seating-plans.

Ticket purchasers will be informed of their specific seat location by February 2024.

I entered the ballot but did not receive my results on Friday 6th October, what shall I do?

If you have not received an email with your ballot results by noon on 6th October, please email Utilita Bowl's Ticketing Team at tickets@utilitabowl.com to request your ballot result.

Please note, 2024 Hampshire Cricket Members, priority groups and those who have already purchased 2024 England tickets will be excluded from the ballot results to give the remaining ballot entrants the best chance to buy tickets.

I require an accessible seat/essential companion to attend. Can I apply through the ballot?

Yes. Ballot entrants were prompted to complete the accessibility section of the ballot form. If you are a successful ballot entrant and now need accessible seating, please email tickets@utilitabowl.com to arrange a call back.

If I am not successful, will I still be able to purchase tickets?

If there are still tickets available once the Members' Priority and Ballot allocations have taken place, any remaining tickets will go on general sale on a first come first served basis.

If the match or my tickets are cancelled in 2024, am I eligible for a refund?

Yes, all tickets are refundable if the match does not go ahead or is played behind closed doors. Please note this does not include booking fees.

I am a blue badge holder. Is there accessible parking available at the stadium?

We have a limited number of accessible parking spaces available at Utilita Bowl. Spaces are only available if booked in advance for International matches and major concerts. We would strongly recommend booking in advance for all matches and events hosted at Utilita Bowl. To book parking please contact the Ticket Office on 02380 472002.

I have purchased car parking in advance, can this be refunded if the match is abandoned?

Unfortunately, as stated in the terms and conditions car parking purchased in advance and on the day is non-refundable.

More Information FAQs

I have purchased tickets, am I able to get a refund?

Unfortunately, once tickets have been booked, they are non-refundable. For further information on ticket refunds please click here.

I’ve purchased my tickets, when will I receive them?

Tickets for both International and Domestic matches will be sent as electronic tickets, 2-3 weeks prior to the fixture you are attending. You will also be able to access your tickets and forward them to friends and family via the Hampshire Cricket App. Visit www.utilitabowl.com/app for more information and to download.

I live overseas, how will I get my tickets?

If tickets are purchased by someone living overseas they will receive these via email 2-3 weeks prior to the match.

What happens if I have selected TicketToApp as my ticket delivery method?

If you have selected TicketToApp as your delivery method you will need to download the Hampshire Cricket App which is free to download across both iOS and Android devices. This can done by following the step-by-step guide which is available to download here.

Please note once the App has been downloaded, a barcode will only appear on the ticket on the day of the match, three hours before it is due to start.

I have lost my tickets, what should I do?

Please contact the ticket office by emailing tickets@utilitabowl.com. Requests for duplicate tickets must be made by the original ticket purchaser and will be reissued electronically.

I am unable to log in to my online account. What should I do?

It may be because you have an old or different email address to the one registered on our system. If you have a new email address and wish to change it, please email tickets@utilitabowl.com.

If you are unable to remember your password please use the ‘Forgotten your password’ link which can be found underneath the login button. If you are trying to activate your account but are unable to because the system is saying your account has already been activated, please follow the ‘Forgotten your Password link’. If problems persist please email tickets@utilitabowl.com.

I need to update my address details. How do I do this?

If you have an online account with us, you can update your address by logging into your account and clicking on ‘My Account’. Here you can amend any of your personal details. Alternatively, you can email us at tickets@utilitabowl.com

What do you class as a restricted view?

A restricted view if defined as one where any part of the bowlers run up or the wicket-to-wicket area itself is obscured. Partially restricted view seats will be sold once the match is listed as sold out and will be available at a discounted adult price.

Where are the scoreboard and big screens located?

The scoreboard and screens are located behind block H and block Q.
