Southern Vipers have named a 14 -player squad to take on Central Sparks at Wormsley in their first home match of 2024
Hampshire Cricket College are pleased to confirm two Open Evening events hosted on Tuesday 8th October and Thursday 5th December at the The Ageas Bowl.
The government funded programme which first launched in 2016, offers a thorough two-year education course with students working towards an extended diploma BTEC in Sport Studies.
It's designed to prepare students for a degree at University, a career in the sports industry, a heightened potential to become a professional athlete and many more opportunities.
The College has specialised in developing cricketing talent in the past few years, offering cricket training opportunities within the state-of-the-art cricket facilities at the The Ageas Bowl with specialised matches also arranged to fulfil cricketing potential within students.
All of this occurs alongside in-class education, ensuring that students also receive a competent education to help them grow academically.
This academic year has seen eleven out of twelve students gain University places for the academic year ahead, whilst current second year student Fletcha Middleton holds a place within the Hampshire Academy and Second XI alongside his studies.
