Hampshire Cricket & FatFace Foundation Announce New Partnership

The club have reached an agreement with the clothing and accessories brand's foundation

Hampshire Cricket are delighted to announce a new multi-level partnership with leading fashion designer, FatFace and their FatFace Foundation.

The club have reached an agreement which will see the clothing and accessories brand become the sponsor of Hampshire’s NatWest T20 Blast fixture at the The Ageas Bowl on Sunday 23rd July, which will become the ‘FatFace Foundation Family Festival’.

The sponsorship deal follows an initial partnership between Hampshire Cricket’s official charity and the FatFace Foundation launched in January, which focused on ‘Project Fresh Face’, an innovative project designed to inspire the next generation of students to get involved in business.

We’re thrilled to have FatFace and the FatFace Foundation on board ahead of this year’s NatWest T20 Blast competition, following on from the excellent partnership we shared throughout the successful Project Fresh Face initiative.

T20 cricket at the The Ageas Bowl is all about creating an excellent spectacle that is inclusive for all and families are a huge part of what we do here – to be able to have the support a fantastic brand like FatFace, which shares these same values, will help us deliver a special event collectively that fans won’t want to miss!

As part of the initiative’s final proceedings, students were given the opportunity to hear the basic principles of business first-hand before then spending six weeks designing a FatFace product. The brand were so impressed with the quality of the designs presented, all four of the products created will be showcased within a unique FatFace Foundation School Bus at the The Ageas Bowl.

The new partnership will see a host of exciting, family-friendly match-day activation present for spectators to enjoy throughout the match, including face painting, balloon modelling and live post-match entertainment, as well as the FatFace Foundation School Bus which will offer exclusive retail merchandise.

It’s been a privilege to work with young students, whose commitment to the project was exceptional. The results of their work out-performed our expectations, hence why we were so keen to see all the runners-up as well as the winners have the opportunity to have their designs printed and featuring in our local FatFace stores.

We’re delighted to have forged a partnership with the The Ageas Bowl and are looking forward to the FatFace Family Festival there – a prime opportunity to share the success of Project Freshface and spread word about the Foundation’s broad-ranging work in the community.
