Hampshire Cricket are pleased to announce a new multi-level sponsorship deal with Showcase Cinema de Lux, who will become the club’s official shirt sponsor for the 2017 Royal London One-Day Cup competition
Hampshire Cricket are pleased to announce a new multi-level sponsorship deal with Showcase Cinema de Lux, who will become the club’s official shirt sponsor for the 2017 Royal London One-Day Cup competition.
The club have reached a one year sponsorship agreement with the global cinema chain, which will also include branding and advertising in a number of locations across the The Ageas Bowl.
We are delighted to have partnered with Showcase Cinemas with whom we have much in common, not least many of our respective customers.
Both organisations are fully focussed on providing the best customer experiences and are major entertainment venues in the local area. We very much look forward to building this partnership and developing a range of mutually beneficial opportunities for each other.

The deal follows the recent opening of the first Showcase cinema on the UK’s south-coast, located in the heart of Southampton’s popular Westquay Shopping Centre. The cinema has been very well received and is the most technically advanced in the country, featuring brighter, sharper, laser projection and immersive Dolby Atmos sound as standard in every screen.
Our new cinema in Southampton is the first of its kind, offering the very latest and best in technology, comfort and design. We are committed to offering the people of Southampton and beyond an unrivalled cinema experience that is fully customisable to their needs.
Our strategy of partnering with key players in the local community is exemplified with this sponsorship deal, and we look forward to a successful season on the pitch and also at the box office.

As part of the new partnership, Hampshire Cricket First Team players Reece Topley, Gareth Berg and Fidel Edwards visited the Southampton branch to experience the fantastic facilities on offer, whilst also meeting Showcase customers.
We were all really pleased to be able to visit the Showcase de Lux in Southampton and experience first-hand the brilliant facilities there – I’ll be sure to visit regularly in the near future.
