Hampshire Cricket Sends Condolences To Somerset CCC

The Club offers its deepest condolences to Somerset CCC following the passing off their Chairman, Charles Clark

Hampshire Cricket would like to send its deepest condolences to all at Somerset County Cricket Club following the loss of their Chairman, Charles Clark.

Clark, who served on Somerset’s Committee in 2010 before becoming the Club’s Chairman in January 2018, sadly passed away on Friday.

On behalf of everyone here at Hampshire Cricket, I offer my deepest sympathies to the President, the Committee, Members and supporters of Somerset CCC following the loss of popular Chairman, Charles Clark.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Charles at Lord’s during and after the Royal London One-Day Cup Final last month and his unbridled joy at seeing Somerset secure their first trophy for some years will be an enduring, and poignant memory. Our thoughts are with Charles’ family and friends at this sad time.
