We’re delighted to have secured the signing of Maia for 2019 season. Maia is a hugely talented young all-rounder who will only strengthen our squad as we look to defend our 50 over title this summer.

She is currently training with the ECB Academy at Loughborough over the winter period and we look forward to working with her throughout the next few months.
I am very excited to be joining Hampshire Cricket, I have been with Middlesex since I was 9 years old and the county has been a huge part of my cricket career - I owe so much to them.

However, this is a very important time for me and I feel that it is right for a change. Hampshire are giving me an opportunity to challenge my cricketing skills, and I am really looking forward to working with Charlotte and fighting to be part of the team.”
Hampshire Women enjoyed a sensational campaign last year as they claimed the One-Day Cup in their first year in the top tier, beating Middlesex in their final fixture to secure top-spot and the trophy.
The side also emerged victorious in the T20 competition, capping an outstanding 2018 for Charlotte Edwards’ side.
