Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Hampshire Women Sign Maia Bouchier From Middlesex

The top-order batter joins Hampshire from Middlesex ahead of the 2019 season

Hampshire Cricket are delighted to announce the signing of Maia Bouchier from Middlesex.

The top-order batter, who has represented Middlesex Women in 40 limited-overs appearances since making her debut in 2014, joins the Club ahead of the 2019 season.

Bouchier also featured for the The Ageas Bowl-based Southern Vipers in 2018 featuring in four Kia Super League contests last summer.

We’re delighted to have secured the signing of Maia for 2019 season. Maia is a hugely talented young all-rounder who will only strengthen our squad as we look to defend our 50 over title this summer.

She is currently training with the ECB Academy at Loughborough over the winter period and we look forward to working with her throughout the next few months.

Hampshire Women enjoyed a sensational campaign last year as they claimed the One-Day Cup in their first year in the top tier, beating Middlesex in their final fixture to secure top-spot and the trophy.

The side also emerged victorious in the T20 competition, capping an outstanding 2018 for Charlotte Edwards’ side.
