Match Preview: Surrey v Hampshire, Vitality CC
A 13-player Hampshire squad will travel to The Kia Oval to take on Surrey in the Vitality County Championship
Hampshire Women's fixtures have been announced for 2022, with Hampshire facing Surrey, Sussex and Kent in Group 6 of the Women's T20 County competition next year.
Hampshire will contest three double-headers against each of the aforementioned sides across April and May - facing Kent in two T20s on Monday 18th April before travelling to local-rivals Sussex for two further T20s on Sunday 24th April. The group stage fixtures are then rounded out with another double-header away against Surrey.
A Finals Day - which Hampshire will host - is set for Sunday 8th May which will see three fixtures contested before a Group 6 winner is crowned.
Hampshire Women's squad - with winter training already underway for a number of players - will be made up of Hampshire's County Age Group players, Southern Vipers Academy & Elite players as well as those featuring in The Hundred and for England.
The confirmation of fixtures is always a significant moment. We're looking forward to next year's T20 competition and playing host to Finals Day is something we're particularly excited about. A number of the squad are already in training ahead of 2022's campaign and we aim to hit the ground running come April.
