Hampshire fans have been voting for their September Player of the Month - presented in partnership with Domino's

James Fuller has been voted Player of the Month for September by Hampshire fans, as part of a new vote for this season presented in partnership with Domino’s.

The all-rounder picked up 52.9% of the vote, beating second-placed Kyle Abbott by more than triple the number of votes.

Fuller played in all three of Hampshire's September fixtures, which saw the 2022 LV= Insurance County Championship come to an end.

Firstly, Hampshire welcome Northamptonshire to The Ageas Bowl in a game that was heavily affected by the weather. The 32-year-old made 26 with the bat as his side declared on 400/9, before he took two wickets in each of Northamptonshire's innings.

He took the final wicket of Jack White moments before the rain come down on the final day to secure a dramatic Hampshire victory, by an innings and four runs, which will live long in the memory.

Kent were next up and Fuller was again amongst the wickets taking 3-44 in the visitors' second innings. He then made an unbeaten 78 in what was almost a match winning innings.

In the final game of the season, against Warwickshire at Edgbaston, Fuller took a four-wicket haul and finished the match with figures of 5-67. He was also in the runs, making scores in the twenties in both innings.
