James Vince is on the shortlist for the PCA Player of the Month for June and Georgia Adams has also been nominated for the Women’s award.
The Hampshire skipper has had a sensational month, especially in the Vitality Blast.
Vince scored 481 runs at an average of 80.17 and earned two Match MVP awards – racking up a total of 193 points.
He also recorded two centuries with 100 off 52 balls against Kent, before hitting ten sixes on his way to 129 not out from 62 balls during the win over Somerset.
Adams also had an impressive month, amassing 50 MVP points as she lifted the Charlotte Edwards Cup with the Vipers.
She put in a Match MVP performance against Northern Diamonds with a well-made 47 runs.
Vince goes up against Surrey’s Will Jacks and a Derbyshire duo of Shan Masood and Wayne Madsen, while Adams is shortlisted alongside Central Sparks’ Eve Jones, as well as Bryony Smith and Kalea Moore of the South East Stars.
The nominees are selected by the PCA's MVP, which is designed to identify the game's top performers. The MVP takes into consideration batting and bowling statistics as well as taking into account key match-defining contributions using a unique algorithm developed with CricViz - cricket's leading analytics experts.
The MVP will run throughout the 2022 campaign, and winners will be announced for each domestic competition, including an overall winner across multi formats.
The PCA Player of the Month is decided by public vote on thepca.co.uk – with the poll closing on Saturday 2 July at 11am.
