Jimmy Adams to Step Down as Captain to Focus on His Batting

In the interim, James Vince will now skipper the side

Hampshire Cricket can announce that Jimmy Adams has made the decision to step down as LV= County Championship captain whilst he finds his form with the bat.

The decision has been made with six LV=CC matches remaining in the 2015 season.

In the interim, James Vince will now take over.

Hampshire Director of Cricket, Giles White said: “Jimmy feels that the most important thing right now is for him to focus on his batting and to get back to scoring runs at the top of the order. While this is the case Vincey will lead the team.”
