Local Cricket  Volunteers Rewarded

Hampshire #NatWestOSCAs (Outstanding Service to Cricket Award) Winners Announced At The Ageas Bowl Lunch

The cricket community gathered at The Ageas Bowl to recognise the hard work of thousands of volunteers who help 20,000 people play cricket every week up and down the county.

Hampshire Cricket Board laid on lunch in the prestigious Ageas Suite to highlight dozens of dedicated individuals and nominees who help make cricket happen in Hampshire.

The event happened against the backdrop of the British Gas Southern Premier League T20 Plate and Final, which featured a disability cricket showcase on the outfield between the two games.  The league also generously donated proceeds from the match programme to Hampshire Cricket Board's disability cricket programme.

Today was about bringing the cricket community together to celebrate the countless hours of volunteer time which makes cricket happen in Hampshire.
