Michael Carberry (150*) - Hampshire v Lancashire, Yorkshire Bank 40 - 22nd May 2013

Michael Carberry - on this day in 2013 - starred as Hampshire eased past Lancashire at the The Ageas Bowl in the group stages of the Yorkshire Bank 40.

Jimmy Adams won the toss and put Lancashire in, an Ashwell Prince century (100) helped Lancashire post 244/6 from their 40 overs.

Dimi Mascarenhas (2-30) was the pick of the Hampshire bowlers, with the other four Lancashire wickets shared between Chris Wood, David Griffiths, Sean Ervine and Liam Dawson.

Hampshire and Carberry made a fast start to what would become a seamless run chase, the only hiccup the loss of James Vince (25) in the 11th over.

Carberry smashed Lancashire's bowling attack to all parts of the The Ageas Bowl, to see Hampshire home with nine wickets and six overs to spare.

Jimmy Adams (66*) batted impressively in support of his opener, but the day belonged Carbs as he bludgeoned 23 boundaries in a 115 ball knock which saw him finish unbeaten, with exactly 150 to his name.
