Record Demand Continues At The Ageas Bowl For England ODIs In 2023

The Ageas Bowl welcomed more cricket fans in 2022 than any other year on record and appetite for world-class cricket on the south coast looks set to continue in 2023

The Ageas Bowl hosts two much-anticipated England ODIs in 2023 – England Women face old-rivals Australia in an Ashes ODI on Sunday 16th July before England Men visit the home of Hampshire Cricket for an ODI against New Zealand on Sunday 10th September – and tickets for both fixtures, which were allocated via a ballot, have been in huge demand.

Tickets for England Men’s ODI against New Zealand were sold out before the start of the general sale, which means that the last four England Men’s fixtures hosted at The Ageas Bowl have all sold out before tickets made it to general sale.

What’s more, after very strong early demand, tickets for England Women’s Ashes ODI against Australia are now very limited, with 75% of tickets sold and a number of ticket categories close to a sell-out.

The Ageas Bowl welcomed a record number of cricket fans in 2022 and the demand for world-class cricket and entertainment on the south coast looks set to continue in 2023.

We’re delighted that tickets for England Men’s fixtures have again sold out in the priority period, and the demand for our England Women’s ODI is very pleasing and demonstrates just how popular the women’s game is, both in this region and nationally.

We’re already looking forward to next summer and welcoming the teams, players and fans.

David Mann, The Ageas Bowl Chief Executive

As ever, fans at next year’s ODIs at The Ageas Bowl will be able to make the most of a range of free off-pitch entertainment, all while enjoying the best view in English cricket.

As a consequence of the popularity of recent England matches at The Ageas Bowl – England’s matches at the home of Hampshire Cricket in 2021 and 2022 all sold out before tickets reached general sale – tickets for both ODIs in 2023 were subject to a ballot to ensure as many fans as possible had the opportunity to access tickets.

Following the ballot, the tickets that remain for England Women’s Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July 2023, are now on general sale – with prices starting from £8 – to secure your place, click the link below.
