Match Themings Announced For Host Of Hampshire's 2017 T20 Blast Fixtures!

Hampshire Cricket are proud to announce a wide range of matchday themes for some of the club’s NatWest T20 Blast matches at the The Ageas Bowl in 2017.

Hampshire’s famous ‘elclasicoast’ fixture against local rivals Sussex Sharks will take place on Thursday 20th July, with the south-coast sides facing off once again at the The Ageas Bowl.

Hampshire’s clash against Surrey on Sunday 23rd July has become the FatFace Foundation Family Festival following the club’s partnership with leading fashion designer, FatFace and their FatFace Foundation.

The new partnership will see a host of exciting, family-friendly match-day activation present for spectators to enjoy throughout the match including the FatFace Foundation School Bus, which will offer exclusive retail merchandise.

Following the undoubted success of last year’s event, the visit of Essex Eagles on Friday 4th August will see this match dedicated to all things Barbados, in partnership with the Barbados Tourism Authority.

The Ageas Bowl’s Ladies Day returns again this year on Thursday 10th August with the afternoon and evening dedicated to promoting women in sport. Hampshire’s match against Glamorgan will be preceded by a home Kia Super League contest for the The Ageas Bowl based Southern Vipers, who will take on Western Storm in a league fixture beginning at 2:30pm.

An array of matchday activation will be present at the The Ageas Bowl throughout the season, with family-friendly activities available for all to enjoy, including face painting, balloon modelling, giant inflatables and fun fair, an opportunity to meet the players and live post-match entertainment.

For just a £5 uplift, youngsters are also able to take part in this year’s Skills Challenge, which offers those involved the opportunity to showcase their prowess for catching, big hitting, target bowling and throwing in front of the The Ageas Bowl crowd.
