Southern Vipers have named a 14 -player squad to take on Central Sparks at Wormsley in their first home match of 2024
The curtain has come down on the 2022 season as Hampshire finished their LV= Insurance County Championship campaign at Edgbaston against Warwickshire last week.
It has been a thrilling season with the Hawks dramatically winning the Vitality Blast, and Hampshire making it to the Royal London Cup semi-final before finishing third in Division One of the County Championship.
Southern Vipers have also enjoyed success on the pitch, winning their domestic T20 competition – named after their head coach – the Charlotte Edwards Cup, and narrowly missing out on a third consecutive Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy with a runners-up finish.
Furthermore, a number of Hampshire and Vipers players represented teams in this year’s return of The Hundred – including the women’s runners-up Southern Brave.
