The Ageas Bowl To Host Ashes Charity Dinner

Former England stars Darren Gough and David Gower headline an exclusive Ashes Charity Dinner on Saturday 20th July

The Ageas Bowl and Hampshire Cricket in the Community are pleased to confirm an exclusive Ashes Charity Dinner will be held at Hilton Southampton – The Ageas Bowl on Saturday 20th July.

The event, hosted on the eve of the 2019 Ashes between England and Australia, will preview this summer’s series in the company of former England stars Darren Gough and David Gower, with the duo offering expert opinions on the series ahead.

Members of the Australian Ashes touring party will also be in attendance, whilst the UK's leading after dinner entertainer and comedian, Bob 'The Cat' Bevan MBE, will be the evening's compere.

Alongside the insight gained on what it’s like to play in an Ashes series, guests will also enjoy a sumptuous three-course dinner within in the refined surrounds of the Ageas Ballroom. All proceeds from the event will go to support the work of Hampshire Cricket in the Community, the Club’s official charity.

Tickets for next month’s exclusive event are available now and priced at just £55 per person with Hampshire Members entitled to tickets for just £50. However, with a limited number of places available, those wishing to attend are encouraged to get in quickly.
