The Ageas Bowl To Host England's Behind-Closed-Doors Training Group

A 30-strong training group will live, prepare and train on-site at the The Ageas Bowl ahead of the first Test against the West Indies starting on July 8

The Ageas Bowl will welcome England’s 30-strong ‘behind-closed-doors training group’ from Tuesday 23rd June.

The training group, along with a separate red-ball management team, arrive at the The Ageas Bowl ahead of the first Test against the West Indies starting on Wednesday 8th July. The group will live, prepare and train on-site at the venue.

On Wednesday 1st July the players will participate in a three-day practice match. After this match, the squad for the first Test will be selected.

Everyone involved with England is delighted that cricket is returning soon, and that the players are reporting for group training in preparation for the Test series against the West Indies.
