About the Role:
Boundary Lakes, is the The Ageas Bowl's picturesque 18-hole golf course, which is due for opening in July 2017. The par 69 parkland course, set against the iconic background of Hampshire Cricket's home, and complete with USGA standard greens and eye-catching, shimmering lakes will provide a stern test for both high and low handicappers when it opens this summer.
This position works with the Spa and Golf manager and the Head Golf Professional to sell the golf course to individuals and third party Golf Societies and Agents.
About The Job:
Assist in creating customized and impactful presentations; draft proposals and contracts for supervisory approval. Monitor contractual elements to ensure they are fully executed by Third Party Agents, including tracking financials.
Responsible for all aspects of event planning and management including but not limited to proposals, contracts and on-site needs such as food & beverage, entertainment, photographers, and transportation and other event needs required. Resolve any logistical issues that arise with professionalism and prompt response on a timely basis.
Close out events with supporting documentation, formal billing summary and communicate with client on any overages. Forward billing information to Accounting within the designated time frames.
Ability to execute large scale golf event series from contracting phase to completion with details to include overseeing accounting accuracy, promotion through internal media channels, working with creative team on collateral, and fielding customer questions, just to name a few.
Update pipeline with leads/contracts and revenue and cost of events sold estimates and actuals on a weekly basis and prepare for weekly review with manager/team.
Maintain and establish internal relationships with Third Party Gold Tour companies such as ‘Golf Breaks, Escapes and Your Golf Travel’ and other key stakeholders.
