Visitor Guide: Blues @ the Bowl

All you need to know ahead of Saturday's live blues event!

 

Gates Open: 6:00pm | First Act: 6:30pm


On Saturday evening, the 24th of November, three blues acts will be taking to the stage for an atmospheric evening of live blues music in the iconic Rod Bransgrove Pavilion at the The Ageas Bowl.

First to take to the stage is The Dan Sowerby Band at 6:30pm, Crossfire at 8:00pm, with headliner Elles Bailey taking to the stage at 9:30pm. 


Tickets

This event is now SOLD OUT with tickets no longer on sale.

For ticket collections please find a steward at the entrance of the Arlott Atrium, and they will be able to help supply your tickets and provide access to the event.

 


Getting Here & Parking

In an attempt to preserve the environment please consider walking or cycling to the The Ageas Bowl. If you cannot do so please use one of the following options:

By Car:

Parking for this event is free of charge.

When leaving Botley Road on the approach to the The Ageas Bowl, please take the 2nd exit on the roundabout and head up the hill. Please then follow direction from the traffic operatives on the approach to the The Ageas Bowl.

 

By Bicycle

A bicycle park is available at the east gate. Please ask the traffic operatives for direction.

Drop Off/Pick Up

A drop off/pick up facility will be available. Please follow direction from the traffic marshals on arrival. All pickups will be from near the West Gate. 


Opening & Closing Times

Gates will open at 6:00pm.

Please then make your way to the Arlott Atrium within the Rod Bransgove Pavilion.
 
The first act is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm with the final act due to finish at around 10:45pm.


Food and Drink

Food will be available to purchase upon gates opening, with last orders scheduled to be at 9:00pm.

A selection of blues-themed burgers, snacks, drinks and the exclusive Muddy Waters ale will be available from the Pavilion Bar.

The Ageas Bowl operates a strict ‘Challenge 25’ alcohol policy and as such anyone deemed to look Under 25 will be asked to provide photographic proof of their age, prior to being served alcohol.


Additional Information

Cash will be available via cash-back at the Pavilion Bar.
