Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Calvin Dickinson

Wicketkeeper-Batsman

Calvin Dickinson is a 21-year old wicketkeeping batsman who joined Hampshire's ranks in 2016.

Dickinson, born in Durban, South Africa, enjoyed his time playing with Oxford MCC University before joining Hampshire's Second XI in 2016.

The keeper-batsman earned his place into Hampshire's XI that were set to face the South Africa A touring side in June 2017, where he plundered 99 from 102 balls.

Upon the injury of Hampshire's starting wicketkeeper, Lewis McManus, in the 2017 Natwest T20 Blast campaign, Calvin took to the gloves and opened the batting in five T20 Blast fixtures for Hampshire including their semi-final against Nottinghamshire at Finals Day.

For the 2018 season, Calvin has been unfortunate to pick up a hamstring injury at the start of the season, however he hopes to bounce back with the gloves & bat and excite crowds with his high strike-rate batting style.
