Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Chris Sole

Bowler

Chris Sole is a right-armed, fast-medium bowler who was picked up by Hampshire in 2016.

The 24-year old has also been named in Scotland's International squad numerous times, which see's him contest against the likes of UAE, Zimabwe and Ireland to say just a few.

Sole enjoyed a busy 2017 playing for both Hampshire Academy in the Southern Premier League and the Second XI, whilst leaving on International duties from time to time during the season.

This season is set to see Chris play as a key bowler in the Second XI whilst keeping him in contention for seam bowling options for Hampshire's First XI.
