Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Oli Soames is a right-handed top-order batsman.

The 24-year-old put pen-to-paper on a deal after impressing in the Second XI in his first campaign in 2017, alongside featuring at the top of the order in the final four first-class fixtures of the season.

He appeared for Hampshire in 2017’s Second XI Championship Final against Lancashire, and three Second XI Championship fixtures in 2018, before opening the batting in Hampshire’s Specsavers County Championship fixtures in September.

The right-hander started at the top of the order to begin the 2019 season before going on to make valuable contributions as part of the triumphant Hampshire Second XI Championship side.
