Tom Scriven

Tom Scriven is a right-arm bowler and right-hand batsman.

He was born in Oxford, Oxfordshire and is a product of Hampshire’s highly successful youth system.

A genuine all-rounder with pace and skill with the bat, Scriven is a graduate of the Hampshire Academy having represented the side as a teenager alongside featuring for Hampshire Second XI.

Scriven has also earned youth international honours as a part of the England U19s set-up, including appearances at the ICC Under 19 World Cup in 2017.

The right-armer received a surprise call-up to make his Hampshire debut the following year, aged just 19, after being selected for a home T20 group fixture against Gloucestershire in 2018.

That taste of first-team action spurred on further development and he made his First-Class debut during 2020’s Bob Willis Trophy against Surrey at Arundel.

The all-rounder showed his class with both bat and ball during the competition, taking three wickets in two matches, whilst also recording 68 against a strong Kent side.
