Hampshire Hawks are the reigning T20 champions after winning the 2022 Vitality Blast!

In 2022, we celebrated the 20th edition of T20 Blast, the world’s longest running professional domestic Twenty20 competition, and it was a big one!

Vitality Blast is the cricket celebration, comprising of 18 counties contesting in an action-packed tournament played with North and South groups during the competition's group stages, before combining the best of the North and South for the quarter-finals and Finals Day.

2023 Fixtures

2023's Vitality Blast fixtures see seven matchdays land at the home of Hampshire Cricket, including two double-header matchdays where the Hawks host T20 action with Charlotte Edwards Cup champions Southern Vipers on the same day.

Hampshire Hawks - the reigning Vitality Blast champions - begin their T20 title-defence on the road at Somerset (24th May) before a huge T20 double-header lands at The Ageas Bowl on Friday 26th May with Charlotte Edwards Cup winners, Southern Vipers, in action too!

2022 Vitality Blast Highlights

The Hawks qualified for 2022 Vitality Blast Finals Day in quite stunning fashion on Thursday 7th July - beating Birmingham Bears by 104 runs at Edgbaston (click here to view highlights).

Hampshire Hawks then travelled back to Edgbaston for Vitality Blast Finals Day - their record-breaking ninth visit to the competition's showpiece - on Saturday 16th July, where - after two wins - the Hawks were crowned 2022 Vitality Blast champions.

The Hawks beat Somerset in the day's second semi-final (watch semi-final highlights), before James Vince's side faced Lancashire Lightning in the final - a match which concluded in dramatic fashion - Hampshire Hawks the winners by one run (watch final highlights).

An allocation of tickets to T20 Finals Day went on sale to Hampshire Cricket Members and Vitality Blast passport holders on Friday 8th July. After which, tickets were then released to all other Hawks fans, with those signed up to the mailing list having first access from Saturday 9th July. Hampshire Hawks' allocation of T20 Finals Day tickets sold out on Monday 11th July.
