Poseidon Amateur Boxing Club

Poseidon Amateur Boxing ClubPoseidon Amateur Boxing Club was established at the Ageas Bowl in 2013 in a partnership between Hampshire Cricket in the Community and Eastleigh Borough Council. In its first two years the club has grown exponentially and now provides regular boxing opportunities for more than 400 people. The club's ethos strikes a balance between participation and performance with keep-fit sessions for complete novices running alongside training for junior and senior boxers competing in national championships.

A significant grant was recently secured to extend boxing facilities at the Ageas Bowl to create an International Boxing Centre and Community Fitness Suite. This is planned to be open by the end of 2015.

The club hosts shows twice a year and will be running it's first Charity Boxing Night at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl in aid of Hampshire Cricket in the Community in October 2015.
