The home of Hampshire Cricket also hosted seven ICC Cricket World Cup matches this summer, two warm up matches and five group stage fixtures.

The iconic ground is also home to an elite sports medicine centre, the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre, the rapidly expanding amateur boxing club, Poseidon and the Hedge End Running Club.

Choi Kwang Do martial arts classes are also held at the Ageas Bowl, whilst 2016 also saw the venue's Elite International Sports Academy (EISA) open its college programme for those aged 16-18.

Ashes Charity Dinner

Saturday 20th July, The Robin Smith Suite, The Ageas Bowl, 7:00pm

Join us and England cricketing legends David Gower and Darren Gough for a sumptuous three course dinner to preview the 2019 Ashes Test Series, with all profits from the event going towards the Ageas Bowl's own charity, Hampshire Cricket in the Community (Registered Charity Number: 1152024).

The event will take place in the intimate Robin Smith Suite within the iconic Rod Bransgrove Pavilion, from 7pm on Saturday 20th July, ahead of the Ashes starting on Thursday 1st August in Edgbaston. Guests will be able to enjoy a sumptuous three course dinner with wine, whilst the evening's compere will be the UK's leading after dinner entertainer and comedian Bob 'The Cat' Bevan MBE, and members of the Australian Ashes touring party will be in attendance also!

Tickets are priced at just £55, with tickets for Hampshire Cricket Members only £50.
