Approachable, world-class wines to satisfy every taste

The range of wines you’ll find on offer at BEEFY’S has been personally selected by Lord Botham himself – including BMW wines he developed in partnership with the well-renowned winemaker, Geoff Merrill, and his great friend Bob Willis.

On the menu you’ll be able to discover a large selection of carefully curated wines from around the world that are perfectly complemented to the dishes on our menus – in addition to an array of cocktails and gins.

About Our Inspiration

Passion and desire beyond the boundaries...

Lord Ian Botham, universally referred to by his nickname ‘Beefy’, is an advocate of fresh, high quality British cooking. That’s because, beyond the boundaries of his glittering domestic and international cricket career – where he was generally regarded as England’s greatest ever all-rounder – Lord Botham has a real passion for fine food and wine.

Off the field, Beefy holds a fierce passion for the countryside and its pursuits and this has forged the development and direction of the restaurant which bears his name. 

On the field, Lord Botham never compromised on his commitment to the game. In his media career, he has become a respected voice for a clear and unfussy style. And as a fundraiser for charitable causes, his prodigious dedication was the main reason for being appointed as a Knight Batchelor by the Queen. These admirable qualities can also be found in Lord approach to BEEFY’S - uncompromising and uncomplicated.

About Our Restaurant

Stylish and vibrant, classic yet contemporary

BEEFY’S by Lord Botham is located on the Upper Ground floor of Hilton Southampton – Utilita Bowl, Utilita Bowl’s hotel.

Enjoy a drink or two in the classic yet contemporary BEEFY'S Bar, before taking a seat in BEEFY'S stylish and vibrant restaurant to enjoy the very best of British cuisine.

BEEFY’S by Lord Botham guests are entitled to complimentary parking at Hilton Southampton – Utilita Bowl, and the restaurant is accessible by walking into the hotel foyer, past the reception desk, to the lifts on the far side of the lobby.

BEEFY'S is located on the Upper Ground floor, and upon exiting the lifts, please turn right, and then immediately left into BEEFY’S, where you will find a member of the team to greet you.
