Prom Challenge

Enhance your students' understanding of what it takes to organise and deliver events

Gain an insight into working in the hospitality industry with interactive sessions at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl before planning and pitching ideas for your school prom/celebration event.

The Ageas Bowl Prom Challenge is perfect for Year 10 & 11 students interested in events management, hospitality and catering and those involved in Prom Committees or Student Fundraising Groups.

Aims

• Develop team-working skills by generating ideas and presenting a pitch in a group
• Build an understanding of market research, project planning and budgeting
• Improve presentation skills pitching to Hilton Hotels executives
• Inspire students to consider a career in events management or hospitality 

Information

Launch: Monday 10th October 2016, 13:00-16:00

Presentations: Wednesday 23rd November from 13:00

Group Size: Maximum of 15

Cost: FREE - project costs funded by Hilton Hotels

Prize Pot: the winning group will receive £500 towards their prom/celebration event
