About Us

Hampshire Cricket Board (HCB) is the governing body of recreational cricket in the county and is one of 39 County Cricket Boards in the country. 

Hampshire Cricket Board is responsible for developing grassroots cricket in Hampshire. We work with a range of partners, including Hampshire Cricket Ltd, Hampshire Cricket in the Community, Southern Premier Cricket League, Hampshire Cricket League and District Associations to grow and improve the game to provide a cricketing future for all.

Our diverse range of activities are designed to provide playing and volunteering opportunities for men, women, boys, girls and people with disabilities.

HCB Vision Statement

Our mission is to grow and improve the game to provide a cricketing future for all.   We aim to achieve this by working towards four Strategic Outcomes:

  • PlayingInspire more people to play cricket, more frequently.
  • Workforce – Develop a thriving professional and voluntary workforce, which has the skills, knowledge and experience to drive the growth of the game.
  • Facilities – Provide high quality places to play cricket which support the growth of the game.
  • Governance – Cultivate a county cricket network, which will sustain the growth of the game.
